Burning juniper is great when moving into a new space, juniper really helps you settle in and the tree itself is very grounding. Junipers tend to “claim” the land they stand on. Their dense structure and tenacity make them natural wind barriers during dust and snowstorms. Several North American tribes used eastern juniper poles to mark the boundaries of agreed-upon hunting territories. Juniper was a symbol of the Canaanites’ fertility goddess Ashera or Astarte in Syria.
