Sway the Way to Better Health using your Body Pendulum- Jen Desillier
Our mind-body connection is one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal. Practicing our connection and tuning into our unique energy can help us in accessing our higher wisdom. One way to build this connection and get answers from your higher self is to use your body as a pendulum.
Subconsciously, we know everything that is going on in our own bodies. The use of a pendulum can help auto assist in tapping into our inner wisdom and what we inherently already know deep down. Knowing the right thing to do can be tough, because often times our minds are racing with thoughts and can cloud a clear intention. Many of you may have tried using a crystal pendulum as a way to find answers and acquire information. So how do you use your own body as a pendulum instead?
Here’s how you do it:
Relax your mind and body
First, find a comfortable spot to stand- barefoot is best! Relax your body and mind; I do this by taking a few deep breaths in through my nose and out through my mouth.
Find Your Yes and No
Once you are relaxed, ask yourself an obvious “yes” question. Something like “Is my name ____?”, “Am I ___ years old?”, or “Has being a The Collective Ritual member changed my life for the better?” Continue to think about your question; shortly you will feel your body sway. Your body might sway forward, backward, or even to the side. Take note – the way your body moves is your higher self saying “YES!” You can ask yourself a few “yes” questions to gain confidence in your “yes.”
Now that you are comfortable with your “yes”, you want to reset and relax your mind and body again. Now, ask yourself an obvious “no” question. Note your body movement, and now you have your “no.”
Tap into Your Higher Self
Your body is now calibrated to your unique energy. You can begin asking yourself yes/no questions that do not have obvious answers. I use my body as a pendulum for everything from “Do I want salmon for dinner?” to “Am I confident that the action I am taking is in my highest good?”
Be Your Own Food Detective
We can be our own Food Detectives! You can tap into your own body’s intuition and ask yourself if this food/diet/supplement is right for you. This is just another way of listening to your gut. Repeating the same technique to find your “YES”, try it with food related topics. Like, ” Is consuming this food at the moment beneficial? Am I intolerant?”
